Here I am with 10 of my dogs during the Serum Run on the Virginia Creeper Trail.  From my perspective on the cart and left to right, front to back are Kenai, Cosmos, Bear, Tucker, Calab, JoJo, Yeti, Sasha, Ulric, and Dancer.  These guys have ran a lot of miles with me this year.  I don’t see them as just dogs anymore.  Cosmos has even learned to stop the team and look both ways at a road crossing where I cannot see what is coming.  He measures the length of the team and checks the distances and speed of the cars and we go when it is safe.  I have not seen him make a close call yet.  He is a great thinker.
