We woke up Sunday morning to find that overnight the temps had gone from zero to 34 degrees and we had freezing rain. I stepped out of the trailer at 2am and went for a free ride off the yellow step across the ground. This is supposed to be dryland racing and not sled racing so we had to postpone the start till 12 noon for things to thaw. Only in Virginia could a dog sled race be canceled due to snow. :) |
